Life is an Adventure - Kindness is a Superpower & you were Designed to shine!

The Healing Journey

Life is messy. Many of us don’t get stories that fit into neat little boxes. The pat answers, prosperity promises and tired old clichés often don’t provide encouragement that leads to breakthrough and sustained change for good.

Tiny acts of sincere love and self-compassion can make all the the difference. This is a place to find encouragement and some of my favorite resources for the healing journey. Many of these resources have inspired breakthrough moments in recovery for me and I pray you will find renewed hope in the truth that the support that you need is available. You’re going to be ok. What you’re feeling right now in this moment won’t last forever and you are never alone. Please don’t give up, because you are so loved.

You can break free. You can heal, and no matter what you’ve survived, you can take your life back and it can be well with you soul. This is your Story. Please don't let any abuser, situation or circumstances dominate or destroy any more moments in your life.

This is your story & it’s time to shine!

Trauma recovery has very little to do with praying the right prayers or performing all the right religious acts and performances. Trauma recovery has everything to do with your willingness to commit to a lifelong healing journey. Please take courage, slow down and commit, decide today to stop betraying yourself.

Recovery is difficult, yet always heroic work, and You are Worth the Work!

I know you can do this! You’re an overcome.

The truth is, we need you. No one can share the love of God the way you can and as Professor Charles Xavier would say, ‘Please, we need you to hope again.’

Trauma is bad code. The good news is that there’s always something you can do based on your current ability to take tiny but mighty steps toward victory over any abuse, betrayal, and injustice. Your situation is not your destiny and sorrow isn’t your permanent address. You can overcome and your life can become a beacon of light that helps others to find their way home.

The Gift of Sorrow

In order to make it to the other side of your sorrow, you have to make the decision to look deep inside and find out who you are apart from the situations and circumstances that left you broken hearted.

Will you accept courage to believe that this situation is not your destiny?

‘The Gift of Sorrow’ is a tiny, 4 chapter book offering hope, compassion and a simple strategy based on the science of human behavior toward peace and even joy!
